Hi everyone
I've heard about networking "groups" - evenings for people, for example in a particular profession... can anyone advise me of any or how to get to go to some?

Hi
Try going to www.meetup.com. You can find people in your area who have the same interests as you. Sometimes people set up work related groups in order to network. GAAPweb, a finance jobs website, has set up the "Accountants working in London" group that meets once a month.
